Trump Promises List of Jeffrey Epstein Associates Amid Outcry
President Trump Responds to Epstein-Related Questions and Discusses Possible Pardons
In a surprising statement, President Trump provided a list of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates and commented on the likelihood of pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s co-conspirator. As Maxwell, aged 63, was being interviewed for a second day by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump was asked about the case.
He redirected attention to other high-profile figures, stating, “You should focus on [Bill] Clinton, the former Harvard president Larry Summers, and some hedge fund individuals. I’ll give you a list.”
Addressing questions about pardoning Maxwell, Trump initially declined to discuss pardons, claiming, “I can’t talk about pardons,” but later remarked that he hadn’t thought about it.
Trump also mentioned a handwritten note he allegedly wrote to Epstein in 2003 for Epstein’s 50th birthday, suggesting that others may have used his name in a letter.
While in Scotland, Trump faced further questions, denying reports that the Justice Department had briefed him about Epstein-related files containing his name. He dismissed claims of conspiracy theories, asserting, “I’m focused on making deals. I’m not focused on conspiracy theories that you are.”
Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, revealed she provided information on approximately 100 individuals linked to Epstein to Blanche.
Trump dismissed speculation about a pardon, emphasizing he is mainly focused on negotiations and deal-making. “I’m not worried about conspiracy theories,” he said.
The Epstein case gained renewed public interest this year, with Attorney General Pam Bondi hinting at explosive revelations, including a potential client list. Epstein’s known associates include Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, Les Wexner, and political figures like Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, with some reports suggesting disputes with Epstein over property dealings.
Despite extensive investigations, the Justice Department concluded Epstein died by suicide in jail in August 2019. Over 1,000 victims were identified, but no evidence was found to criminally link powerful associates to Epstein’s criminal activities.
