Nick Hogan Labels His Father’s Passing as “Overwhelming” and Pays Tribute

Nick Hogan is currently navigating the emotional weight of his father’s death, which he describes as “overwhelming” and “extremely difficult”. He took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute alongside a carousel of nostalgic photos of him and his father, Hulk Hogan. In his message, Nick expressed gratitude for the comforting messages he received and reflected on the many kind stories shared about Hulk’s life and interactions.

“He was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero,” Nick wrote, recounting the deep bond they shared. He described Hulk as “kind, loving, and an amazing father,” and expressed how blessed he felt to have had him in his life. Nick also shared that he managed to say his love and thanks to Hulk shortly before his passing, which he considers a precious moment.

He remembered Hulk as his mentor and best friend, promising to carry his lessons forward in a way Hulk would be proud of. Nick concluded his message with heartfelt love, saying, “Thank you for being the best dad in the world and my best friend. I love you so much, Big Dog, and I will miss you forever.”

Hulk Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71 after experiencing a cardiac arrest. Reports confirm that emergency services responded to his Florida home, and he was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital.

Nick was present when Hulk married Sky Daily in September 2023, while Hulk’s daughter Brooke chose not to attend, citing a personal desire for space and healing. Brooke later explained her absence on social media, sharing that she needed to distance herself from her family to focus on her own well-being. She also revealed her last conversation with Hulk was two weeks prior, when she expressed her love for him before the wedding.

Despite their close relationship, Hulk had a strained connection with Brooke, who previously accused him and her mother, Linda Hogan, of serious abuse. Hulk and Linda were divorced in 2009 after a tumultuous marriage marked by allegations of infidelity and abuse, which Hulk denied and contested legally.
