GOP Rep: Pardon Ghislaine Maxwell for Secrets in Exchange, Trump Should Consider

Calls for Disclosure and Testimony in Epstein-Related Investigation

A representative from Kentucky has urged the Trump administration to pursue Ghislaine Maxwell’s testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking activities, even suggesting she should be pardoned if necessary to secure her cooperation.

Thomas Massie, a Republican, has been leading efforts in Congress to release Epstein-related documents for greater transparency. He emphasized that the decision to pardon Maxwell lies with the President, but expressed support for obtaining vital information from her.

“If her testimony could help uncover more about Epstein’s crimes, she should speak out,” Massie said. “Any measures needed to ensure her truthful testimony are worth considering.”

In recent statements, former President Donald Trump mentioned he hadn’t made a decision about pardoning Maxwell but acknowledged the legal authority to do so.

Meanwhile, Trump’s ex-defense attorney, Todd Blanche, now serving as the Deputy Attorney General, met privately with Maxwell last Thursday and Friday. Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking minors related to Epstein, is serving a 20-year sentence.

Massie’s bipartisan colleague, Representative Ro Khanna, expressed skepticism about Maxwell’s potential clemency, asserting that her history of perjury indicates she should testify and emphasizing the necessity for independent evidence through the release of Epstein’s files.
