David Muir Reveals Shocking Health News About President Donald Trump
Update on Donald Trump’s Health Revealed by ABC Anchor
During Thursday’s edition of ABC World News Tonight, anchor David Muir provided an update regarding Donald Trump’s health, following recent concerns raised by images showing swelling and bruising. The White House confirmed that the President has a benign condition that affects blood circulation in his veins.
In the report, White House Correspondent Mary Bruce explained that Trump’s doctor diagnosed him with chronic venous insufficiency, a common, non-serious condition often seen in older adults. While not considered dangerous, it can cause discomfort. Treatment options typically include medication, leg elevation, or minor surgical procedures if needed.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump had a recent check-up after noticing mild swelling in his legs. She clarified that tests confirmed the diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, which results from malfunctioning vein valves. She also addressed bruising on Trump’s hand, attributing it to irritation from frequent handshaking and aspirin use to reduce cardiovascular risks.
Leavitt emphasized that the medical examination aimed to dispel ongoing speculation about the President’s health. Notably, in a previous comprehensive exam earlier this year, no such issues were reported, and health was described as normal.
Additional testing during the recent exam found no signs of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease, and there was no evidence of heart failure or kidney problems. Overall, officials expressed confidence that Trump remains in excellent health, as observed regularly by those around him.
