Kelly Osbourne Shares Personal Reflection and a Song That Speaks to Her Heart

Kelly Osbourne has broken her silence publicly for the first time since her father, Ozzy Osbourne, passed away. She chose to express her feelings through the lyrics of a classic Black Sabbath song, “Changes.”

On social media, Kelly shared a heartfelt message alongside the song’s lyrics. She wrote, “I feel unhappy, I am so sad. I’ve lost the best friend I ever had,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji, highlighting her profound grief.

“Changes” is a piano ballad from Black Sabbath’s 1972 album Vol. 4. The song was originally inspired by drummer Bill Ward’s separation from his first wife. Kelly covered the track with Ozzy in 2003, which became her first number-one hit in the UK. She also performed live versions of the song with her father over the years.

Ozzy died peacefully Tuesday, surrounded by loved ones, including his wife Sharon and children, Kelly and others. He left behind a legacy rooted in music and family. Kelly recently shared a touching video on Instagram, showing her father having breakfast with family at his home in England. In the footage, Ozzy appears cheerful as he scrolls through his iPad, offering a glimpse into his final moments.
