Stolen Car Crashes into Shoe Store During Brazen Break-In

A surveillance video captured a dramatic scene where a suspect in a hooded sweatshirt drove a stolen vehicle into a Phoenix retail store early Thursday morning. The suspect then exited the car and hurriedly grabbed merchandise, making multiple trips back and forth through the wreckage.

The incident unfolded around 3:15 a.m. when the thief rammed the vehicle through glass doors and a security gate at Restock Ave, shattering the entrance. The vehicle collided with a display of shoes before the suspect fled on foot, carrying stolen items. Moments later, they returned for more goods, as shown in the footage.

The store owner, Chis Sotelo, expressed shock at witnessing the scene on camera. “I couldn’t believe it,” he said, describing the aftermath of shards of glass and debris strewn across the store. The suspect then fled on foot, frantically tearing clothes from racks.
