David Geffen sued for paying for sex and forcing cosmetic procedures on estranged husband
Ex-Husband Sues Billionaire David Geffen Over Alleged Abuse and Grooming
David Armstrong has filed a lawsuit against billionaire David Geffen, accusing him of paying for sex and engaging in grooming behavior. Armstrong, also known as Donovan Michaels, alleges that the two met on SeekingArrangements.com, a site he claims is used by wealthy men to exploit vulnerable individuals.
In the lawsuit, Armstrong claims Geffen paid him $10,000 for their first encounter. He states that Geffen treated him as a social experiment and trophy to impress his wealthy circle, rather than showing genuine care. Armstrong, who grew up in foster care, alleges Geffen used his background as a tool of manipulation, pretending to care while secretly exploiting him for sex and entertainment.
The suit further details that Geffen professed love and claimed their relationship was “genuine and enduring,” yet soon after Armstrong expressed a desire to start anew and develop independence, Geffen allegedly cut him off and demanded a divorce. Armstrong claims this move left him homeless, especially after Geffen filed for divorce in May and asked him to vacate their shared residence.
Armstrong further alleges that Geffen engaged in control and criticism of his appearance, undergoing painful cosmetic treatments, and was often intoxicated, using drugs like cocaine, molly, and cannabis. He claims Geffen also encouraged him to partake in drug use with his A-list friends.
The lawsuit describes Geffen’s alleged behavior as abusive, involving international travel on Geffen’s private yacht and manipulation rooted in exploiting Armstrong’s traumatic upbringing. Armstrong seeks damages, a secure home, and ongoing support for his basic living expenses.
Geffen has denied the allegations, with his attorney stating there was no contract—written or implied—and promising a vigorous defense against what she describes as a false lawsuit.
