“There isn’t an infrastructure that supports artists,” she stated, highlighting the challenges faced by performers on tour.

Cyrus described touring as a demanding experience that can be emotionally draining. She noted that the rush of performing and the audience’s applause creates a temporary high, but the subsequent crash can lead to feelings of inadequacy, needing ever more applause to feel fulfilled.

Additionally, the singer expressed concerns about maintaining sobriety on the road, considering it a vital part of her stability. Touring, she explained, makes it particularly difficult to stay committed to her wellness needs.
