U.S. Marshals Arrest Woman & Juvenile in Connection with Project Pat’s Son’s Killing

U.S. Marshals Apprehend Woman and Juvenile Linked to Project Pat’s Son’s Murder

Two Arrests in Memphis Shooting Case

Authorities have announced the detention of two individuals connected to the January killing of Patrick Houston Jr., the son of rapper Project Pat. Law enforcement sources revealed that U.S. Marshals recently detained a 19-year-old woman, Talia Jones, in Minnesota. She is accused of playing a role in Houston Jr.’s death, which investigators believe resulted from a targeted robbery that turned deadly.

Jones currently remains in custody and is expected to be extradited to Memphis to face criminal charges. At just 21, Houston Jr. was tragically killed at a young age.

Evidence suggests that Jones and Houston Jr. knew each other prior to the incident. Authorities also believe that an unidentified juvenile co-defendant—who is thought to be Jones’s ex-girlfriend—was the one who actually fired the shot that ended Houston Jr.’s life. Digital communications indicate that Jones and the juvenile exchanged messages before and after the shooting.
