Legendary rock musician Ozzy Osbourne died on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his loved ones. His family confirmed his passing, asking for privacy during this difficult time.

Osbourne was 76. His family expressed their grief, stating, “It is with more sadness than words can convey that we mourn the loss of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne.”

The singer had performed his final show with Black Sabbath earlier this month. Despite health concerns, he remained active in music until recently.

Earlier in July, rumors circulated online claiming Ozzy was dying, but his daughter Kelly swiftly dismissed them, assuring fans of his well-being.

Ozzy revealed he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2020.

Ozzy had battled health issues for years. In 2020, he publicly disclosed he had been secretly fighting Parkinson’s disease for over 15 years. The neurological disorder, which has no known cure, worsened over time, according to medical sources.

He also endured severe neck injuries from a 2003 quad biking accident. In 2022, Ozzy underwent a significant neck surgery after reporting difficulty walking. Post-surgery, his mobility improved, and he returned briefly to the stage later that year, including performing at an NFL halftime show.

By 2023, Ozzy announced he would stop touring due to ongoing health challenges. Reflecting on his career, he shared, “Never would have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.”

He married Sharon in 1982, and they shared three children. Ozzy was previously married to Thelma Riley, with whom he had three more kids. His last public performance in Birmingham was a farewell with Black Sabbath, marking the end of an era for the iconic artist.
