Tiger Woods' son Charlie Woods, 15, hits hole-in-one at PNC Championship

Despite Tiger Woods currently being sidelined due to a torn Achilles tendon sustained in March, his 15-year-old son Charlie is making waves in the junior golf scene. While Tiger aims to return to competitive play possibly in 2026, Charlie is carving out his own path, recently claiming his first AJGA title at the Team TaylorMade Invitational at Streamsong Resort.

In a standout performance, Charlie shot a final round of 66, finishing 15-under-par and defeating a competitive field of top-ranked juniors, including Miles Russell and Luke Colton. His victory significantly boosted his standing in the AJGA Rolex Rankings from 609th to 14th, opening doors to prestigious tournaments.

Following in His Father’s Footsteps

Looking ahead, Charlie is set to compete at the AJGA Junior Players Championship from August 28–31 at the iconic TPC Sawgrass, the very course where Tiger achieved his legendary wins in 2001 and 2013. This event marks a notable milestone for the young golfer, who is nearing the end of high school with graduation anticipated in 2027.

Earlier this summer, Charlie displayed consistent performance at the 41st Jack Nicklaus Junior Championship, finishing sixth out of 122 players despite a double bogey on the 12th hole. His ability to stay steady under pressure demonstrates growth and promise, fueling high expectations among fans and analysts alike.
