Riley Green Surprises Fans with ’90s Country Cover of Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy In Me”
Riley Green Releases Acoustic ‘Midtown Sessions’ EP Featuring a Tim McGraw Cover
Riley Green surprised fans with a new acoustic EP titled Midtown Sessions, showcasing five stripped-down tracks that highlight his vocal clarity and love for classic country.
The collection includes his self-penned songs “Worst Way” and “Jesus Saves,” along with the popular “Change My Mind” and the newly recorded “Bartender In Destin.” Notably, Green also delivers a heartfelt cover of Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy In Me,” adding his own country flavor to the classic.
Green’s affection for ’90s country influences this project, instilling a nostalgic, uncomplicated sound that emphasizes authentic vocals. “I’ve always enjoyed acoustic renditions of songs, so I recorded a few just as I originally wrote them,” Green shared.

Track List for Midtown Sessions
- Change My Mind (Green, Dylan, Montana)
