In a recent effort to shift focus, Trump threatened to block a new stadium for the Washington, D.C. NFL team unless they revert to their original name, the Redskins. This move has little to do with national interests and is seen as a distraction from the Epstein scandal.

With conventional tactics failing, pressure is mounting on the Department of Justice (DOJ) for answers. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to inquiries about the delay in releasing Epstein files by stating that it is the DOJ and FBI’s decision, suggesting the president is not directly involved.

Speculation is increasing that Attorney General Pam Bondi could become the scapegoat for the administration’s failure to disclose the Epstein documents. Evidence suggests the Trump team is turning against its own, possibly to shield higher-ups from fallout. Bondi, once a close ally, may now be set up to shoulder the blame as part of internal power struggles.

This internal conflict hints at an attempt by the Trump administration to contain the scandal and prevent further damage. As the administration’s efforts to suppress or distract from the Epstein case falter, the focus shifts to who will be sacrificed to protect others.
