Queens Father Kills Wife and 2-Year-Old Daughter in Murder-Suicide
A disturbing incident occurred in Ridgewood, Queens, when a man stabbed his wife and young daughter before turning the knife on himself. The 54-year-old suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, reportedly stabbed his wife 18 times and his daughter nine times with a kitchen knife. Miraculously, he was on a FaceTime call with his nephew during the attack, and the nephew immediately called 911 as the horrific scene unfolded.
Authorities arrived to find the suspect having inflicted multiple stab wounds to himself. Emergency personnel transported him to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition. The mother and daughter were taken to nearby hospitals, where both were pronounced deceased.
Neighbors described the family as idyllic, often seen taking their young girl on walks and shopping together. There had been no signs of disputes or arguments, making the violent act even more shocking. Residents only learned of the tragedy after police arrived and carried out the victims and the injured father.
