Illegal Immigrant Snatches Sex Slave from Texas Trafficking Ring—Shocking Video
Honduran Man Arrested for Alleged Kidnapping and Abuse of Trafficking Victim in Houston
Authorities have detained Jose Carcamo, 22, accused of holding a Chinese woman hostage for five days in Houston, Texas. The victim was reportedly kept without food or water while being physically assaulted and sexually abused.
Surveillance footage shows Carcamo forcibly removing the woman from the street. He then confined her inside a trailer home, where she was held in a closet after attempting to escape. During her captivity, she was allegedly tied up, punched, and assaulted multiple times by Carcamo.
The incident came to light after a 911 call from a woman screaming for help. Witnesses reported seeing the victim fleeing before Carcamo snatched her away. Authorities discovered her locked in a closet when they searched the trailer home.
The woman revealed she was initially brought from New York to Texas under the pretense of a higher-paying masseuse job. However, after arriving, her passport was confiscated, and she was held against her will in the trailer. She stated she was assaulted multiple times during her captivity.
Carcamo, detained since July 14, faces charges of aggravated kidnapping. He claims innocence and expects to be cleared as evidence is reviewed.
The victim is currently receiving medical and psychological support at an undisclosed location. Authorities continue investigating, suspecting a broader trafficking operation involving multiple suspects and victims.
