Manchester United are reportedly showing renewed interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Randal Kolo Muani. The 26-year-old joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for £76 million but has struggled to secure regular playing time. During a loan spell at Juventus in the latter half of last season, Muani excelled, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Initially linked with United in the summer of 2023, the club decided to pursue Rasmus Hojlund instead. However, sources suggest that the Red Devils are once again considering Muani to bolster their attacking options as they aim to improve after a disappointing goal tally last season, which was their lowest in Premier League history.

PSG has reportedly quoted an £8.6 million loan fee with an option to buy for £26 million, a price tag seen as steep for Juventus, who are unlikely to meet such terms. Meanwhile, United is strengthening their squad, having recently agreed a £71 million deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million, both aimed at addressing their goal-scoring issues.

The club is also expected to see some high-profile departures, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Jurrien Timber, and Antony, to help fund new signings. One potential target is Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, but the Blues are demanding a hefty £100 million for the 23-year-old, making a transfer challenging unless United offloads players to finance the move.
