Charley Hull’s Health Update After Leaving Evian Championship by Ambulance

Charley Hull Shares Health Update Following Collapse at the Evian Championship

LPGA Tour Star Charley Hull Dealing With Scary Situation

In February 2025, Charley Hull faced a distressing moment during the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore. After experiencing nausea and vomiting, she initially thought her participation might end. However, the 29-year-old decided to persevere, returning to the course and impressively shooting a 68, which kept her close behind the leader, Lydia Ko.

Despite her resilience, conditions at Sentosa Golf Club were extreme, with high temperatures and humidity. Hull briefly held the lead during the final round but ultimately finished tied for fourth. Her competitive spirit was clear, but a more serious incident occurred during her first major appearance of the year.

While paired with top players, Hull was seen sitting down after completing her first 12 holes in good form. As she approached the fourth tee, she suddenly collapsed. After a medical break, she collapsed again while attempting to tee off and had to leave the course on a medical cart, ultimately withdrawing from the tournament.

Hull later revealed on Instagram that she was battling a virus that worsened during the event. She expressed her disappointment at missing the tournament’s final days but assured fans she was feeling better after receiving medical attention, including an IV, rest, and food. She clarified she didn’t need to be hospitalized.

This wasn’t Hull’s first health scare this season. She previously withdrew from the 2024 Aramco Team Series London after a shoulder injury caused by a fall. Despite these setbacks, the talented golfer remains ranked 19th worldwide and has shown consistent performance in major tournaments, with recent top-12 finishes.

Resilience in the Face of Challenges

Hull was diagnosed with severe ADHD in 2023 and degenerative arthritis in her shoulder the following year. She openly manages these conditions through routine and medical treatments, which she credits for helping her stay focused and adapt her game.

Her proactive approach and strong mental resilience demonstrate that she can overcome setbacks and continue pursuing her goals, reaffirming that no obstacle is too big for the dedicated golfer.
