Adam Wharton Considering Stay at Crystal Palace Despite Liverpool Interest

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton has reportedly decided to remain at the club for the upcoming season, despite strong links to a transfer to Liverpool. The 21-year-old has been closely connected with a move to Anfield, with Tottenham also showing interest.

Palace is eager to retain Wharton this summer, especially with other key players like Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze potentially leaving before the transfer window closes. According to reports, Wharton is inclined to stay at Palace for now, which puts Liverpool in a favorable position to secure his signature.

Wharton joined Palace in February 2024 from Blackburn Rovers, who are set to receive 15% of any future transfer fee. Since his arrival, he has appeared in 43 matches, although he was sidelined for a significant part of last season due to groin surgery.
