Television personality and classical musician Myleene Klass captivated attendees during the BST Hyde Park Open House event. She energised the crowd by highlighting the vibrant personalities of classical composers, comparing Mozart to modern pop star Harry Styles, and Liszt to Taylor Swift, emphasizing their larger-than-life personas.
The concert featured a diverse program, including live performances by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Among the highlights was a preview of Michael Giacchino’s score for the new Marvel film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, introduced live on stage by stars from the movie, such as Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby.
Additionally, audience members enjoyed a special tribute to VE Day, along with dynamic renditions of Giacchino’s The Incredibles suite and John Williams’ iconic Indiana Jones theme, performed by talented artists including Benjamin Appl.
Myleene Klass spoke about breaking stereotypes associated with classical music, saying, “Many think classical music is dull and reserved, but that’s not the case.
