President Trump stated that Attorney General Pam Bondi should release any information related to Jeffrey Epstein that she considers credible, especially amidst recent controversies over FBI files connected to the late sex offender.
As he prepared to leave for a trip, he remarked, “Anything that’s credible, I would say, let them have it.” He also praised Bondi’s handling of the matter, adding, “She’s handled it very well. And it’s going to be up to her, whatever she thinks is credible, she should release.”
Despite calls for transparency, the president tempered expectations about the potential revelations from Epstein-related files. He dismissed the case’s significance, describing it as “pretty boring stuff” and “sordid,” yet not particularly interesting, questioning why the case continues to attract attention.
He also commented on Epstein himself, who died by suicide in 2019 while in custody. The president indicated that additional disclosures might not reveal anything particularly new or significant.
