‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny Depp spoke openly about his defiance against Hollywood pressures following allegations from his ex-wife Amber Heard that threatened his career.

He recalls the moment the industry seemed to want him to step away: “While working on a movie, they said, ‘We’d like you to resign.’ But what I understood was—they wanted me to retire,” Depp shared. His response was blunt: “F— you. There are too many of me to hurt. If you think you can damage me more than I’ve already suffered, you’re mistaken.”

Depp explained his motivation to fight the allegations, emphasizing that retreat would have meant losing his identity. “I fought because, without doing so, I wouldn’t be myself,” he said.
