Referring to the couple, he humorously remarked, “First off, he’s 73 and dating a vibrant 24-year-old. What happened to this country?”

Gillis continued teasing, suggesting Belichick’s reading habits involve titles like “The Very Horny Caterpillar” and “Goodnight Boobs,” then clarified he wasn’t attacking the legendary coach personally. He quipped, “He’s 73, dating a young woman, and people criticize him? What’s going on?”

The comedian, 37, also mocked their age differences further, saying, “He’s 73, she’s 24 — they first met on a flight in 2021 after he autographed her textbook. In December 2024, it was reported that Belichick ‘couldn’t care less’ about their age gap because he appreciates her for who she is. They connect on a deep level, age is just a number,” a source said.

Gillis jokingly questioned the cultural shift, asking, “What happened to this country?” and quipped, “He’s dating a hot 24-year-old, and they criticize him. Maybe if you guys won six Super Bowls, you wouldn’t be stuck next to a fat, ugly dog wife.” The audience reacted mixed, prompting Gillis to admit he should have left out that last part of the joke.
