New Yorker Brian Tarrence Confirmed Dead in Turks and Caicos After Vanishing
Man’s Decomposed Body Discovered in Turks and Caicos Identified as Missing Manhattan Resident
The remains found earlier this month during the search for Brian Tarrence in Turks and Caicos have been confirmed as his on Wednesday. Authorities revealed that the body belonged to the 52-year-old man from Manhattan who had been reported missing.
According to officials, there is currently no evidence to suggest foul play in Tarrence’s death. He had gone missing on June 25 while on a vacation with his wife on the Caribbean island.
During the investigation, police located the body of a deceased male in a state of advanced decomposition in the vicinity of Grace Bay on July 5.
The police reported that an autopsy performed on July 11 showed no signs of physical trauma. They also stated that, at this stage, there is no suspicion of foul play. The cause of death remains undetermined and will be clarified through a comprehensive autopsy report.
Tarrence disappeared during the third night of a celebration marking his one-year wedding anniversary. Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific cause of his death pending further investigation.
