2025 ESPY Awards: How to Watch and Who’s Nominated

The 2025 ESPY Awards are set to be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles tonight, showcasing top athletes and entertainment. The event begins at 8 p.m. ET on July 16, 2025, and airs on ABC and ESPN+.

Host and Performances

Comedian Shane Gillis will host this year’s ceremony, with special performances by artists including Busta Rhymes, Clipse, GELO, Tobe Nwigwe, and David Michael Wyatt.

Nominations and Key Award Contenders

Top nominees include athletes like Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Shohei Ohtani for best male athlete. Female contenders include Simone Biles, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, and A’ja Wilson. Additionally, WNBA star Diana Taurasi and USWNT legend Alex Morgan are expected to receive the Icon Award. NBA icon Oscar Robertson will be honored with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.
