Former Major League Baseball All-Star Todd Frazier, now a sports analyst for the New York Yankees, recently revisited his childhood baseball home at Toms River Little League. The 1998 Little League World Series champion reflected on the experience of coaching his son Blake, who is 11, on the same field where Frazier’s own baseball journey began over 25 years ago.

Frazier participated in a campaign with OFF! insect repellent, filming on the same Jersey Shore field where he first made his mark. He shared that returning to Toms River Little League revived many cherished memories and felt personally meaningful. “It brings back a lot of memories, especially where I started and eventually won,” he said. “Working with my son on this project has been very special.”

He also expressed gratitude towards his wife Jackie, who manages the challenges of balancing family life and his career. “It’s tough, but my wife has been incredible through it all.”

Working with his son and staying humble

Frazier has also collaborated with Blake on a campaign video, where he noted how his other children, Kylie and Grant, are beginning to grasp his baseball fame but remain down-to-earth. “Blake is very athletic, and I focus on teaching him life values. He was thrilled about the OFF! partnership,” he said.

He recounted the experience of filming the “Squish the Bug” segment, where Blake demonstrated how to properly hit the ball and apply insect repellent—metaphorically linking bug-squishing to baseball techniques like turning the back foot and driving the hips. Frazier emphasized the importance of protecting players from pests, which has been a longstanding challenge during the region’s mosquito season, especially during baseball season. “This partnership with OFF! feels perfect,” he added.

Frazier sees this initiative as a way to help young players enjoy baseball without worries about pests, blending his love for the game with practical solutions—making a true home run for Little League families.
