Hunter Biden Blames Dems’ Disloyalty for Defeat

Hunter Biden Blames Democratic Disloyalty for 2024 Election Loss

Hunter Biden attributed the Democrats’ defeat in last year’s election to their lack of loyalty to his father, President Joe Biden. Speaking on a podcast hosted by former Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison, Hunter argued that despite a highly successful administration, Democrats abandoned his father when they turned against him last summer. “We lost because we did not stick by the party leader,” he stated.

He emphasized that the party’s internal discord over his father’s candidacy hampered efforts to unify behind a nominee, which he warned would likely continue into Trump’s second term if not addressed. Hunter also dismissed speculation that he played a significant role in his father’s administration, sharing that he deliberately stayed away from political decision-making, which he admitted was painful for him.

He criticized Democrats for their internal struggles, suggesting that their lack of unwavering support contrasted with the fierce loyalty shown by Republicans toward Donald Trump. Harrison acknowledged Hunter’s perspective, hinting that stronger party loyalty might have altered the election outcome.

Despite keeping a low profile, Hunter Biden’s legal issues—ranging from firearm possession to unpaid taxes—remained prominent during his father’s presidency. Last year, President Biden granted his son a broad pardon, despite earlier asserting he would not pardon him.

Concerns Over President Biden’s Health

Earlier this year, questions about President Biden’s mental and physical health gained attention after a book questioned his cognitive decline. Hunter dismissed accusations of a cover-up, attributing the spread of conspiracy theories to sensationalism and a general inability to keep secrets in politics.
