In a lighthearted revelation, actress Tori Spelling disclosed that she once turned her old breast implants into a quirky DIY gift for her former husband, Dean McDermott, on their anniversary.
She explained that she retrieved her dispossessed implants from her doctor—who seemingly wasn’t supposed to give them to her—and displayed them in a lucite box, transforming them into bookends. “I took the old implants I got, and put them in a Lucite box to make bookends,” she shared during a recent episode of her podcast, misSPELLING.
Adding her signature humor, Spelling joked, “You know I like to DIY, so I never disappoint.” Despite their separation, this personalized gift remains one of her prized possessions. Her ex, Dean McDermott, even offered to return it upon their split, an offer she refused, stating she would “never” sell them on eBay — although she admits to wondering about their value.
Future Plans for the Keepsakes
Looking ahead, Spelling expressed interest in preserving the implants by bronzing them, possibly turning them into paperweights. “If they were bronzed, I could make them into paperweights,” she mused, highlighting her playful spirit.

The former couple, who married in May 2006 and share five children—Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau—announced their separation in June 2023 after 17 years together. Despite their breakup, McDermott returned the gift, stating they would continue co-parenting and working together as loving parents.
