Wolverhampton Wanderers are close to finalizing a £15 million transfer agreement for Fluminense’s talented winger, Jhon Arias. The 27-year-old Colombian international has delivered an impressive season, recording 13 assists for his Brazilian club and contributing significantly to their journey to the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Arias’s performances during the tournament caught the attention of many, including Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who described him as “one of the best players in the Club World Cup” and even requested his shirt after a match against Chelsea. The Colombian star participated in six matches during the competition.

Since transferring from Santa Fe in Colombia in 2021, Arias has scored 47 goals in 229 appearances for Fluminense. His consistent performance has made him a highly sought-after player, attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

Despite reports of interest from Juventus in midfielder Andre, Wolves maintain that the 23-year-old, a former Fluminense teammate of Arias, is not for sale.
