West Virginia Couple Caught Having Sex and Drunk Driving in Stolen RV

Couple Caught Engaging in Public Sexual Activity While Driving Stolen RV

A couple in West Virginia was arrested after authorities stopped their stolen RV and discovered them fully nude and intoxicated during an apparent sexual encounter behind the wheel.

While patrolling in Bluefield, police pulled over Shannon Bryant, 35, and Matthew McDonnell, 48, last Wednesday afternoon. According to police reports, Bryant was perched atop McDonnell in the driver’s seat as the vehicle sped along the road, seemingly unaware of the officers approaching.

Approaching the vehicle, officers found McDonnell sitting calmly in the passenger seat, while Bryant, visibly intoxicated, admitted to police, “We were f–king.” The couple was immediately ordered out of the RV to prevent further incident.

During a search of the vehicle, officers uncovered drug paraphernalia, including a bag of white powder, painkillers, and a broken glass pipe, which Bryant disclosed McDonnell had discarded during the stop. Further investigation revealed the RV was stolen from Princeton, just ten miles away.

Records indicate the couple’s behavior was documented with several images, showing Bryant straddling McDonnell as they attempted to conceal their activity. They also faced charges for drug possession, indecent exposure, DUI, and possessing a stolen vehicle.

Despite confessing to engaging in sexual activity while driving, both pleaded not guilty to the charges. McDonnell has a prior criminal history and is currently held on an $8,000 bond, with an outstanding warrant in Virginia.
