Adam Levine Claims Blake Shelton Trickd Him into Buying $5,000 Teacup Pig

Adam Levine Reveals Blake Shelton Pranked Him Into Buying a $5,000 ‘Teacup Pig’

The singer shared that Shelton tricked him into purchasing a micro pig for his then-girlfriend, Behati Prinsloo, which ended up growing to around 400 pounds.

Levine explained during an interview that his now-wife had expressed a desire for a tiny pig. Curious, he asked Shelton about it, who then convinced him to pay $5,000 for a “teacup pig,” claiming he could get him one.

The pig was adorable at first, but Levine and Prinsloo quickly realized they were not suited for pig parenting. After about three weeks, they decided to rehome it to a farm and asked for updates on how the pig was doing.

Several months later, they received a picture showing the pig had grown dramatically, now weighing around 400 pounds. Levine remarked, “Imagine if that pig had grown to be that size in my house!”

Levine confronted Shelton about the scam, criticizing him for selling a pig that was far from a tiny “teacup.” Shelton’s response was blunt: “There’s no such thing as f—ing teacup pigs,” and he refused to refund the money.

Levine explained that Shelton’s prank was a practical joke at his expense, highlighting how deceptive the idea of tiny pigs can be, as many potbellied pigs are falsely advertised or underfed to appear smaller. Despite the prank, Levine and Shelton’s friendship remains strong from their time co-hosting multiple seasons of The Voice.
