Chris Hughes Reveals Romance with JoJo Siwa: ‘I’m Obsessed’
Chris Hughes Opens Up About His Relationship With JoJo Siwa
Chris Hughes has expressed deep affection for his girlfriend, JoJo Siwa, revealing he’s become “obsessed” with her and envisions marriage someday.
In a recent interview, Hughes shared his desire to marry Siwa, describing their wedding plans. “I’d love to marry her,” he said. “We’d have a traditional English wedding, and I can see her in a full wedding dress.” He also mentioned their shared wish to have children, highlighting their loving families and Siwa’s close bond with his mother. “She’s my best friend. I love how we have a great time even without doing much,” he added.
The couple remains in a “transatlantic relationship,” with Hughes based in the UK and Siwa in the US. Although they haven’t discussed living together yet, Hughes mentioned he’s willing to take flights to see her because he is head over heels. “I’d do anything for her,” he said, emphasizing his obsession and love.
Hughes, 32, first met Siwa during their time together on “Celebrity Big Brother UK,” where they connected quickly. He recalled their first kiss during a vacation in Mexico, stating, “Our first kiss felt like a scene from a movie. I couldn’t keep my hands off her afterward.” He admits to telling Siwa “I love you” daily, describing their bond as a “safe love” and a “natural high.”
Siwa, who previously identified as a lesbian, now describes herself as queer after her close connection with Hughes. They originally fueled rumors of dating during their stint on “Celebrity Big Brother UK,” even while Siwa was dating Kath Ebbs. The pair split shortly after filming ended.
Siwa, 22, shared her feelings about Hughes, stating, “It’s been a beautiful connection. I’m completely head over heels for him, and he feels the same.” Their romance blossomed post-show, even amid rumors during their time on “Celebrity Big Brother UK,” when Siwa was still with her previous partner. Following their break-up, she publicly came out as a lesbian in 2021, and later clarified her identity as queer.
