A well-known American TV personality has publicly criticized actress Charlize Theron for sharing details about her recent one-night stand, calling it “vulgar.”

Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News host, took issue with Theron’s candidness about her sex life, describing her comments as inappropriate and off-putting. Kelly questioned why Theron chose to discuss her personal experience on the popular podcast Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper.

Theron admitted during the podcast that she recently had a one-night stand with a 26-year-old man, calling it an “amazing” experience. She expressed her belief that women should be more vocal about their desires and asserted that confident, outspoken women tend to want to influence their pleasure in sexual encounters.

While promoting her upcoming Netflix film The Old Guard 2, Theron shared her thoughts on sexuality and independence, emphasizing that women should prioritize their satisfaction and self-expression.

Kelly criticized the actress for her use of profanity and perceived attempt to appear “young and cool,” commenting that Theron seems to be trying to act her age and maintain her star status with less decorum.

Additionally, Theron discussed her experience raising her two adopted daughters, Jackson and August, without a father figure, which Kelly also criticized, suggesting it was an unnecessary point of pride.
