Juventus target Marcus Rashford as top summer transfer amid Barcelona and Bayern interest

Juventus Targets Marcus Rashford in Summer Transfer Plans

Juventus is prioritizing a summer transfer for Marcus Rashford, according to reports. The Italian club is reportedly trying to quicken negotiations to sign the Manchester United forward, who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

Manchester United is believed to value Rashford at around £40 million. The player is also attracting interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich, with the Catalan giants considered Rashford’s preferred destination. However, Juventus has entered the bidding race and is eager to secure his services.

While Juventus has shown interest in other Manchester United players like Jadon Sancho, salary demands have impeded negotiations. Rashford’s substantial wages, exceeding those of Sancho, present an additional challenge for potential suitors.

Recent reports suggest that Barcelona’s coach, Hansi Flick, has urged his club to acquire Rashford on loan with an option to buy next season. Rashford’s impressive performance at Villa last season, scoring twice in ten Premier League matches, has caught the eye of multiple giants. Following the failure to sign Nico Williams, interest in Rashford has intensified.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Flick has asked for a loan deal with a future purchase option to be approved by Barcelona’s management. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz was also considered as an alternative by Barcelona but was ultimately shelved.

The ongoing negotiations are expected to develop further in the coming weeks as Barcelona and Manchester United work toward an agreement. If successful, the deal could see Rashford leave United amid a highly charged transfer window.
