Zara McDermott Addresses Rumors About Her Ex and Current Boyfriend

Former Love Island contestant Zara McDermott has addressed speculation surrounding alleged tensions between her ex-boyfriend, Sam Thompson, and her current partner, Louis Tomlinson. Zara and Sam’s relationship, which started in 2019, was featured on the reality series ‘Made In Chelsea,’ and ended last year after a difficult period for Sam.

Meanwhile, Zara’s connection to Louis was confirmed after he left a supportive comment on her Instagram, saying, “Proud of you x.” Interestingly, Zara and Louis appeared alongside Sam as teammates in the recent Soccer Aid charity football match supporting UNICEF.

In an interview, Zara emphasized her focus on her career, stating, “The only thing worth writing about in my life is the work I do.” She also dismissed rumors of conflict, saying, “I see some things written and wonder: ‘Why focus on the non-existent drama?’ It can be frustrating, but I understand it’s part of the industry.”

Besides her reality TV pursuits, Zara showcased her dancing skills with partner Graziano Di Prima on ‘Strictly Come Dancing,’ although their run was cut short in the fifth week. She’s also established herself as a documentary filmmaker, creating works that explore important social issues, including “Ibiza: Secrets of the Party Island” and “Zara McDermott: Disordered Eating.”
