Brad Pitt Seeks to Reconcile with Twins Before Their Birthday

Brad Pitt Seeks Reconciliation with His Twins

Actor Brad Pitt is hopeful about mending his relationship with his twins, Knox and Vivienne, ahead of their birthday. Despite recognizing that the chances are slim, he is eager for a final opportunity to reconnect and make amends.

A source close to Pitt revealed he’s “desperate” to have a meaningful conversation with his children. However, the teenagers have shown signs of distance; notably, Vivienne dropped Pitt from her last name in a 2024 Playbill, delivering a clear message. Conversely, Knox has kept the family surname, sparking a glimmer of hope for Pitt.

He remains committed to his family, considering his children—including Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh—”very important” in his life. One insider shared Pitt hopes to see all of his children back in his life eventually, emphasizing he’s a proud father who has tried repeatedly to rebuild these bonds. Still, he believes that his kids need to take the initiative since he has made numerous efforts to reconnect.

Regarding his relationship with Angelina Jolie, Pitt has accepted that they will likely always be “at odds,” though he continues to hold hope for a future reconciliation with his children. Photos depict Pitt with all six of his kids, indicating their importance to him, despite the strained relationship.

Pitt’s most significant regret during their tumultuous time as a family is reportedly the inability to repair and strengthen his bonds with his children. Since their split in 2016 and finalizing divorce last year, the children have distanced themselves publicly—Shiloh and Zahara have dropped Pitt’s surname, reflecting their desire for independence from their father’s name. Pitt, however, remains committed to being involved in their lives, hoping for eventual closeness.

While Pitt doesn’t often speak publicly about his family, he recently shared his journey to sobriety during a difficult period, highlighting his personal efforts to grow and change amid family tensions.
