Chelsea’s Liam Delap Dumps Influencer Girlfriend During Club World Cup
Chelsea’s New Signing Liam Delap Reportedly Ends Relationship Amid Club World Cup Campaign
Recent reports suggest that Liam Delap, the new Chelsea striker, has broken up with his Scottish influencer girlfriend while participating in the Club World Cup.
Delap, 22, was previously in a relationship with Leanna Paul, a social media influencer with a large following on Instagram and TikTok. The breakup allegedly occurred during his time at the tournament, with reports indicating Paul has hinted at the split on her Instagram stories.
One of her posts read: “You can’t keep someone loyal by loving them harder.” The influencer, known for her online presence with nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram and over 325,000 on TikTok, was dating Delap for over a year before their relationship ended.
Sources claim that Paul was shown evidence of Delap with another woman prior to the breakup. Delap, who recently transferred from Ipswich Town to Chelsea for £30 million, has been actively involved in Chelsea’s campaign at the Club World Cup, scoring his first goal in the tournament during a 3-0 victory over Esperance Tunis.
He has participated in five matches in the competition, starting in four of them, and is considered a strong contender to be Chelsea’s main striker for the upcoming Premier League season. Chelsea is scheduled to face Fluminense in the semi-final, with a potential final match against either PSG or Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Paul, a budding blogger and model, continues to grow her following online. Her recent posts and stories have garnered significant attention, with some reports claiming she dismissed previous cheating allegations prior to the breakup.
