Although a cold front that affected the East on Thursday has moved out by Friday, some regions will still experience unsettled weather for outdoor celebrations. Expect rain in certain areas during fireworks displays, parades, and other festivities this holiday weekend.

The forecast indicates a new wave of storms is crossing the northern states, with additional tropical showers projected in the Southeast. However, for most of the U.S., the risk of weather impact remains low, allowing fireworks to proceed safely.

Northeast and Mid-Atlantic

Expect dry, warm, and seasonal days through the weekend, with temperatures mainly in the 80s. Most areas are forecasted to have no weather-related disruptions, as indicated by a zero Risk of Weather Impact (ROWI) score.

Northern Plains and Upper Midwest
