Unconventional Party Held for Anna Delvey While Under House Arrest

Georgia McCann, a star of the reality series Next Gen NYC, recounted organizing an extraordinary event at Anna Delvey’s downtown Manhattan apartment, which was under house arrest at the time. McCann transformed the modest East Village walk-up into an exclusive nightclub for a night in January 2023.

She explains, “I thought, why not turn her apartment into the hottest nightclub in New York for one night?” The event, dubbed the “Club House Arrest”, featured an invitation crafted as a fake New York Post cover and drew a high-profile crowd, including designer Cynthia Rowley, her daughter Rachel Rabbit White, and media personalities like Cat Marnell and Ben Widdicombe.

Despite her legal status, Delvey was eager to make a splash, according to McCann. “She was so gung-ho about it. She said, ‘Yeah, let’s do it,’ so we made it happen,” McCann shares. Security was tight, with hundreds of guests, including local news crews, attempting to sneak in. All attendees, regardless of stature, were required to sign NDAs, which most chose to ignore or fake their numbers for, given Delvey’s criminal past.

Guests also signed confidentiality agreements, and it was reported that Delvey asked for their social security numbers—though most provided false or left the section blank. McCann notes that neighborhood residents were surprisingly supportive, even allowing Delvey to use their apartments as green rooms, and were excited to be part of the event.

McCann emphasizes that despite her being under house arrest, Delvey was thrilled about hosting such an unconventional celebration. “She was so eager to make a mark,” McCann remarks. The party was a testament to her desire for a dramatic splash, ankle monitor and all.
