Nicola Peltz Responds to ‘Controlling’ Rumors Amid Family Rift
Nicola Peltz Shares Heartfelt Moments with Family Amid Speculation of Controlling Behavior
Actress Nicola Peltz subtly addressed recent claims suggesting she is overly controlling of her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, in the context of their ongoing family disputes. She posted a series of photos on Instagram from her father Nelson Peltz’s 83rd birthday celebration, featuring her husband, her billionaire father, and other relatives.
In her caption, Nicola expressed her admiration for her father, writing, “Happy birthday dad! I am so grateful to be your daughter. You are the most loving and supportive father I could wish for.”
Nicola added, “I love you more than I can express—you’re the wind beneath my wings. Celebrating you yesterday was a joy! Thank you for being always there for us with unwavering love and support.”
Despite sharing joyful moments, some fans criticized her in the comments, accusing her of “rubbing it in” that Brooklyn celebrated her father’s birthday after skipping his own father David Beckham’s star-studded 50th celebration in May. Rumors also suggest tensions within the Beckham family, including Brooklyn and his brother Romeo’s alleged disagreements over personal relationships.
In defense, an Instagram user commented, “It’s absurd to say Nicola controls a grown man. He’s an adult who makes his own decisions. Stop blaming women for everything.” Nicola responded by liking this comment.
Brooklyn and Nicola, aged 26 and 30 respectively, have been embroiled in a feud with the Beckham family, partly fueled by disputes over personal relationships and missed family events. Recently, Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham were reported to be on bad terms, especially after Romeo’s relationship with Kim Turnbull, which she denied was romantic with Brooklyn.
Following their breakup, Kim Turnbull clarified that there was no romantic involvement with Brooklyn, emphasizing their friendship instead. Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s father, David Beckham, appeared to extend an olive branch by congratulating Brooklyn on his knighthood and sharing nostalgic family photos.
Despite the family tensions, David Beckham publicly acknowledged his son’s achievements and shared heartfelt throwback images for Father’s Day, signaling a desire for reconciliation.
