Todd Chrisley Abruptly Gets into Prison Fight with Rick Singer Amid Admissions Scandal
Todd Chrisley Recalles Prison Encounter with Rick Singer
Known for his role in “Chrisley Knows Best,” Todd Chrisley revealed a tense confrontation with Rick Singer, the ringleader behind the college admissions scandal, during their shared time in federal prison.
On a recent podcast, Savannah Chrisley’s show “Unlocked,” Todd shared that he was quick to clash with Singer when both were incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida. Todd recounted that he immediately called Singer a “snitch” and expressed his desire not to speak with him anymore. Matters escalated months later when Singer allegedly spoke badly about Todd’s daughter, Savannah.
According to Todd, he confronted Singer in a heated manner, saying, “I will rip your head off and s–t down your neck if you talk about my child again,” after Singer started talking derogatorily about Savannah. Todd indicated he would have followed through on his threat had Singer persisted.
He further explained that he told Singer, “Just be aware that if my daughter’s name comes out of your mouth again, I will rip your head off.” Savannah mentioned that her father’s anger nearly led to him being transferred to a different county, but the two did not have further issues after this confrontation.
Posting photos from their time in prison, Todd claimed that both served sentences at the same facility. He also asserted that he was pardoned by President Trump in May 2023 after serving two years for tax evasion and bank fraud, maintaining his innocence throughout. The scandal, which involved faking college entry for wealthy students, also resulted in sentences for celebrities like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman. Rick Singer was released to a halfway house in Los Angeles in August 2024.
