Matheus Cunha, aged 26, was acquired by Manchester United for £62.5 million, notably less than Wirtz’s transfer fee of £116 million. Experts believe Cunha’s prior Premier League experience gives him an advantage in adapting quickly to the faster-paced English game, despite Manchester United’s overall struggles.
