Stars of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Join “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34
The stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, known for their roles in “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”, have been announced as contestants for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars”.
The news was revealed during Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Reunion Special”, where host Nick Viall shared that both women auditioned for DWTS while filming their show’s third season. Excitedly, he announced that Affleck, 26, and Leavitt, 32, had secured spots on the cast, thanks to their popularity with the production team.
The announcement also indicated that the women will make an appearance on “Good Morning America” to confirm their participation live on Tuesday.
Just days prior, Affleck humorously shared on social media that she went into labor during a manicure appointment. She posted a clip captioned, “POV: you start having contractions at your nail appointment.” As of now, she and her husband, Zac, have not announced the baby’s arrival. The couple already has two children: Nora, 3, and Lucas, 1.
Meanwhile, Whitney Leavitt recently showcased her dance skills at a concert in Las Vegas, marking her first trip with her family since welcoming their third child, Billy Gene, in October. The family also includes son Liam, 2, and daughter Sedona, 4.
Upcoming Competition and Cast Details
Affleck and Leavitt will compete against other celebrities like wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, 21, and TikTok star Alix Earle, 24, who both expressed excitement about joining the show. Irwin called the opportunity his “ultimate dream,” while Earle shared her enthusiasm about challenging herself and having fun.
The full cast will be revealed later, but it’s clear that season 34 promises an engaging lineup of celebrities and professional dancers vying for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
