Bethenny Frankel Mocks Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez’s $50M Wedding

Bethenny Frankel Criticizes Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $50 Million Venetian Wedding Invitations

Bethenny Frankel expressed her disapproval of the wedding invites for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s extravagant wedding, held in Venice with a $50 million budget.

Initially trying to stay diplomatic, Frankel revealed her honest opinion in a TikTok video, stating, “I love Lauren Sánchez and Amazon, so I’ve been treading carefully. But you know me—my opinions tend to slip out.”

She described her confusion upon seeing the couple’s wedding invitation, which featured colorful illustrations of butterflies, birds, shooting stars, feathers, and Venice scenery like canals and gondolas. Frankel joked she was so baffled she “got lost,” and humorously added she might need to get married just to send out a proper invitation in return.

The wedding invitation included artistic depictions of Venice and whimsical motifs.

She further joked that her intent was to “do the lord’s work” by speaking out against the unconventional stationery, which she admitted initially caused her confusion. Frankel plans to have her own wedding someday—to make up for the bizarre invite—though she has yet to choose the date or location.

Frankel humorously stated she might need to get married just to send invites that make sense, joking, “Now I have to get married to make up for that invite.” She also stressed that it was the wedding invitation that truly lost her, despite her usual diplomacy.

They married in front of about 200 guests, including celebrities like Kris Jenner, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, and Orlando Bloom. Sánchez donned a Dolce & Gabbana gown, while Bezos kept it classic with a tuxedo.
