Liverpool’s Rising Star Signs Record-Breaking 18th Birthday Long-Term Deal!

Liverpool Teenager Signs Long-Term Contract on 18th Birthday After Breakout Season

Liverpool has secured the services of Tre Nyoni with a new extended contract, marking a significant milestone on his 18th birthday. The talented midfielder enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough season, making six appearances for the senior team since joining from Leicester in 2023.

Nyoni, an England Under-20 international, previously became Liverpool’s fourth-youngest debutant at just 16 years and 243 days during an FA Cup victory over Southampton. Most notably, he set a club record as the youngest player to participate in a European competition during a Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven last season.

Having signed his first professional deal in October 2024, Nyoni has already trained with the first team, demonstrating his potential. Reflecting on the contract, he expressed gratitude and a desire to continually improve: “It’s a great feeling, especially supporting the club from a young age. I need to show why I’ve earned this contract by improving each day and giving my best.”

Despite competition from established midfielders like Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and others, as well as fellow young talents Stefan Bajcetic and Tyler Morton, Nyoni remains focused on development. His dedication suggests he is eager to fight for his place in Liverpool’s squad under coach Arne Slot.
