Following recent events where Louis Tomlinson appeared to ignore Sam Thompson, her ex, Zara shared on Instagram that she needed to take some time off from negativity on social media platforms.

In her message, she expressed appreciation for the support she received from her followers. She also announced her intention to focus on her upcoming project, sharing her plans to create a documentary addressing issues like domestic abuse, coercive control, and technology misuse.

“Thank you all so much for your messages regarding my recent post,” she wrote. “I’ve received thousands of messages and am still reading through them. It’s really comforting to connect with you all.”

McDermott mentioned that she’s been taking a social media break to concentrate on her documentaries and personal growth, emphasizing her desire to be more present in her everyday life.

She and Louis Tomlinson revealed their relationship publicly in March, shortly after ending their previous involvement with former “Made In Chelsea” star.
