Shocking 911 Calls Reveal Crash Victim Conner Smith’s Unexpected Alertness!

Details Emerge in Nashville Crosswalk Accident Involving Country Singer

A 77-year-old woman involved in a pedestrian accident in Nashville earlier this month was reportedly conscious immediately after being struck, according to newly released 911 recordings. Witnesses indicated she was upright and seated in the street following the collision with a black truck on 3rd Avenue.

One 911 caller described seeing the woman propped up in the road in front of a vehicle identified as a “black Chevy truck.” Emergency responders were alerted that multiple people had already phoned in about the incident while bystanders assisted the victim, later identified as Dorothy Dobbins.

Although it remains unclear whether Dobbins was sitting on her own or helped by others, she later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. Authorities confirmed the driver, 24-year-old singer Conner Smith, remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment or phone use at the time of the crash.

Police allege Smith failed to yield to Dobbins as she crossed on a marked crosswalk. No charges have been filed, and an investigation continues.

Smith, known for his hit “I Hate Alabama,” had performed in Nashville earlier that day. His attorney stated he is cooperating fully with authorities, expressing sympathy for the victim’s family. As a result, Smith has withdrawn from upcoming festival appearances.
