Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez Stunningly Shut Down Italian Bar on First Outing as Husband and Wife!

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Celebrate Their Wedding in Venice

The newlyweds, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, made their first public appearance as husband and wife at Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy. This historic spot, famed as the birthplace of the Bellini cocktail and frequented by many celebrities, was temporarily closed for their private celebration.

According to witnesses, the couple arrived at Harry’s Bar via a nearby hotel, waving to guests dining on the terrace. Since Harry’s lacks a water taxi drop-off, they were dropped at a hotel across the street and walked through the streets to reach the venue. The couple, along with their friends Usher and Tommy Hilfiger, enjoyed a private lunch before the venue reopened to the public later that evening.

Harry’s Bar has a storied history, favored by icons like Ernest Hemingway and George Clooney. The owner, Arrigo Cipriani, stated that Bezos is “a private individual who has come here to get married,” and emphasized that the event would not impact Venice or the bar’s legacy. Security was heightened, with police guarding key locations, and the luxury hotels Aman and Gritti Palace were fully booked or temporarily closed, with some guests relocated to premium accommodations elsewhere.

The wedding ceremony took place on Friday night at San Giorgio Maggiore, with performances by Matteo Bocelli and Ellie Goulding. Attendees included prominent figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Barry Diller, Jerry Seinfeld, Jessica Seinfeld, and Huma Abedin.

Guests described the celebration as a “fairytale,” filled with warmth and love, reflecting an intimate and joyful occasion. The event marked a grand chapter for the renowned couple, celebrated amid Venice’s romantic backdrop.
