Ex-Boston University Soccer Coach Hit with Shocking New Sexual Abuse Allegations—Alex Cooper Reveals Scandal!
New Allegations Surface Against Former Boston University Soccer Coaches
Boston University is the focus of fresh allegations following recent claims of misconduct involving its former soccer staff. This controversy comes shortly after ‘Call Her Daddy’ host Alex Cooper revealed she was sexually harassed by the school’s longtime coach, Nancy Feldman.
Cooper, who played for BU from 2013 to 2015, shared her experiences in her Hulu documentary, Call Me Alex. She alleges that she was subjected to sexual harassment and reports having informed university officials about her concerns, though she claims her complaints were dismissed.
Further shocking testimonies have emerged from former BU soccer players. Sophia Woodland described her experience with Feldman as manipulative and psychologically abusive. She stated, “She’s awful. She puts on a really good front,” and accused her of using intimidation tactics focused heavily on players’ bodies. Woodland revealed that her experience involved constant body shaming and weight manipulation, which she found humiliating.
During a period of reflection and shared trauma, several players, including Woodland, discussed their experiences with Feldman during sessions with the university’s psychologist. They recounted feelings of psychological abuse and manipulation, especially regarding body image and personal boundaries.
In response to these allegations, the university maintained a stance that emphasizes its zero-tolerance policy on sexual harassment and asserts its commitment to a safe campus environment. However, Cooper indicated that her complaints were ignored, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the university’s safeguards.
Additionally, reports indicate that another former BU women’s soccer coach, Casey Brown, is facing similar accusations. A player, Shayla Brown, reached out to the university’s ethics hotline, alleging inappropriate behavior and manipulation by Brown, highlighting ongoing concerns about misconduct within the program.
These developments mark a significant challenge for the university, underscoring the need for continued vigilance and support for student-athletes subjected to misconduct.
