Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Reveals He Has Over 100 Children & $13.9 Billion Fortune!

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Announces He Will Leave His $13.9 Billion Fortune to His Over 100 Children

Pavel Durov

Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of Telegram, has revealed surprising details about his personal life and his plans for his wealth. In an interview, he disclosed that he is the biological father of more than 100 children worldwide and intends for all of them to inherit his nearly $14 billion fortune.

Father to a Large Family

Durov confirmed he is the father of six children with three partners. Beyond that, he has donated sperm, resulting in over 100 children across 12 countries. He emphasizes that all his children, regardless of their origin, share equal rights and status in his estate.

He also shared his intentions regarding his wealth: he recently wrote a will stating that his children will not access his inheritance until 30 years from now. His goal is to ensure they grow up without dependence, fostering independence, trust, and creativity.

The Billionaire’s Unconventional Life

At 40, Durov is often called the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia” for creating VK and later Telegram, which has nearly a billion users. Despite his success, his life has been marred by legal issues; he was detained in France last year on charges linked to facilitating criminal activities through Telegram, charges he denies. These ongoing legal challenges have limited his ability to travel freely.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Durov admitted he faces constant threats due to his work and views himself as having powerful enemies. This sense of danger partly motivated him to set up his estate early on.

Comparison with Elon Musk and Personal Discipline

When asked about comparisons to Elon Musk, Durov responded that he concentrates on just one company, unlike Musk’s multiple ventures. He sees himself as more reserved and deliberate compared to Musk’s emotional style, considering it a potential strength.

He maintains a disciplined lifestyle, engaging in intense physical routines—such as 300 push-ups and 300 squats—and abstains from alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and smoking. Durov also enjoys winter swims in Finland and Lake Geneva, embracing a unique mix of wealth, secrecy, and personal resilience.
