FBI Uncovers Shocking New Clue in 2016 California Baseball Pitcher Murder!

New Developments in 2016 San Francisco Shooting Case

Nearly a decade after a promising college baseball player was shot and killed while playing Pokémon Go, new information has surfaced. The FBI has released a fresh sketch of a second individual of interest believed to be involved in the murder of 20-year-old Calvin Riley at Aquatic Park in San Francisco in 2016.

The recent sketch depicts a bearded, bald man with a chunky face and glasses. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that can identify this suspect.

Riley, a standout pitcher for San Joaquin Delta College, was using the popular mobile game with a friend around 9:50 p.m. on August 6, 2016, when he was struck by a fatal gunshot. Witnesses observed two people in the vicinity, and Riley and his friend had noticed someone watching them from a nearby hill but couldn’t see clearly.

Investigators stated that the suspect was recorded on video at the scene. They believe the first male suspect was the driver of a vehicle parked nearby, accompanied by a blonde woman estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old. Two vehicles linked to the case include a white 2015 Hyundai Sonata and a dark-colored Audi A3 Wagon.

Remarkably, there was no confrontation reported between Riley, his friend, and the suspects prior to the shooting. Riley’s belongings remained with him after the incident, and the motive remains unclear. The FBI noted that Riley was not robbed during the attack.

Riley’s father, Sean, expressed relief at the new developments, praising the FBI’s efforts after nearly ten years. He hopes the sketch will lead to justice for his son, who aspired to play in the MLB with the Red Sox someday. The tragic event not only ended his athletic career but also deeply impacted his family and friends across the country.
